Note: HomAtion 2000 software will only work if the PC-Remote is used with the Home Automation GateWay

You can use the 'Quick IR' feature in HomAtion 2000 to quickly send an IR command:

Or, you can create an event to trigger remote control commands:
First, I've created a scene called Movie Scene.

Whenever the Movie Scene is activated, events you create can be triggered. Our event for the PC-Remote is called Movie_AV_ON.
Lastly, we select the IR targets we want to control through the PC-Remote.

Now, whenever the Movie Scene is activiated, the script you see on the left will turn on the television, turn on the Cable box, select the VCR and begin recording.
